COVID-19 - Coronavirus

As we all adapt to the realities of life with COVID-19 we would like to reassure you that we are taking every necessary measure to ensure the health and well being of our patients and team.

We would appreciate your co-operation in the following ways:

If you feel unwell, have a fever or have recently returned from abroad please do not attend your scheduled appointment. Just telephone the rooms and we can rearrange the appointment for you.

If you do attend your appointment please try to restrict the number of people you bring with you. This will help us ensure that there is a limited number of people in the waiting room and that we can maintain a safe distance (1 to 1.5 meters) between visitors.

Please use the hand sanitiser provided. We will continue to make sure that the rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected as appropriate – particularly in heavy touch areas.

If you are unable to travel due to self isolation, quarantine or concerns about being in larger social groups, it may be possible to carry out a tele-consultation. Please talk to our receptionist about this.

Finally, we will continue to keep updated on the advice from medical experts and the government. At this stage we have issued printed information in relation to pregnancy, childbirth and the immediate post-natal period with COVID-19. A copy of this is available in the medical suite and can be accessed here. You can also visit The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists for information here.
